Joining Maruti Suzuki in September 2003, Dr. Siddiqui held pivotal roles that shaped the company’s trajectory, including Executive Director of HR and COO, overseeing HR, Finance, IT, and Legal domains. His visionary leadership as Chief Mentor from 2014 to 2018 played a crucial role in guiding the auto major’s strategic initiatives. He served as a Special Invitee to the Board since 2006, providing invaluable insights and strategic direction. With a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management, Dr. Siddiqui has held HR and business portfolios across eminent Indian corporations and multinational companies including Escorts Limited, DCM Group (comprising DCM Toyota Limited, DCM Daewoo Motors Limited, and DCM Benetton India Limited), New Holland Tractors India (FIAT GROUP). Following his retirement from Maruti Suzuki in July 2023, Dr. Siddiqui continues as advisor and industry thought leader, through HR and business consulting engagements.
